Meg Gore, Artistic Director and Manager Ovation Theatre Company is the fulfillment of a long-time dream for Meg. With a background in theatre production and direction of over 35 years, Meg has been extremely active in Londonderry and the surrounding communities for more than 20 years. She founded Ovation in 2019 and has since directed and produced many hugely successful productions, including Ovation's debut production Les Misérables in an intimate black box setting, Mamma Mia! outdoors on the Londonderry Town Common, and Something Rotten! at the historic Derry Opera House. Several of her productions have been recognized with award nominations. She has also volunteered her time with several other drama programs in the area.
Working with area thespians for so many years, Meg has always had a vision for a program that would focus on theatre beyond just producing shows, that would provide education and foundational skills that would be applicable beyond the stage, and that would introduce both participants and audiences to the best that theatre can offer.
She is excited to continue to share her passion for theatre arts.
